About the Parlour

Ink, slowly.
Honestly.

Kissing Cousins is a Klein Windhoek tattoo and piercing parlour built on the idea that what goes on your skin should be worth wearing forever.

Kissing Cousins is a small, cosy tattoo & piercing parlour in the heart of Klein Windhoek — sharing a roof with Jaybird & Blade Barbershop. The walls are part flash sheet, part sketchbook, part memorabilia from every year we've been at it.

We started this place because there were not enough rooms in Windhoek where a tattoo was treated like a decision worth making properly — slowly, in conversation, with someone who actually drew.

"A tattoo is the only thing you carry out of a building that has paid for itself."

We work in custom pieces and classic flash, in fine line and blackwork, in lettering that looks like it was written by a hand instead of typed by a machine. We pierce ears, helix, septum, navel, nipple — with sterile single-use tools and aftercare we write down for you, because we know you will forget.

We are by appointment only. Every booking starts with a free fifteen-minute consultation — to talk through the idea, the placement, the timing — before anything is drawn or scheduled. It's how we make sure the work is right before it becomes permanent.

We don't oversell, we don't rush, and we don't put work on someone we wouldn't put on ourselves. If your idea isn't ready, we will tell you. If it is, we will draw it the way it deserves and put it on you with a steady hand.

"Making memories
that last a lifetime."

— The house motto
No. 02 — What we stand on

Four house rules.

01

Sterile, always

New needles. New tubes. Single-use everything. Autoclaved tools. No shortcuts on the things you cannot see.

02

Drawn, not pasted

Custom work is drawn for you. We will not put someone else's tattoo on your body — even if you ask nicely.

03

Honest about scale

Small ideas don't go big to fill space. Big ideas don't go small to fit a budget. We size for the design, not the wall.

04

Aftercare counts

You leave with written aftercare and a number you can text. Healing is half the job and we treat it that way.
